join me as i’m learning to live my best

newly diagnosed, celiac-safe life, traveling around the world and munching along the way.

Nice to e-meet you!👋

My name is Andrea, and I am a newly (well, not so new anymore I suppose) diagnosed celiac. I was a huge foodie, loving all things gluten: bread, pizza, pasta, you name it! At the time of my diagnosis, I had just moved to New York City and was living my best post-grad life. Upon years of unknown symptoms, I was diagnosed Jan. 2023. Despite the symptoms, this diagnosis came to me as a shock. I literally laughed when my doctor called me to break the news my celiac panel numbers were high. True story… I even said “doc, I’m never going gluten free.” It’s funny to look back on those first moments, but there’s so much I wish I could have told myself at the time to make it easier.

Adjusting to a gluten-free lifestyle has been a journey, but I have found ways to fill the void of gluten and live my life to the fullest. I hope this blog serves as the starting point I wish I had to help jumpstart your gluten free life, whether you’re new to celiac or trying out the GF lifestyle.

xoxo, Andrea
