newly diagnosed, celiac-safe life, traveling around the world and munching along the way.
Hi, I’m Andrea — welcome to If It’s Gluten Free, It’s For Me! 👋
After years of unexplained symptoms, I was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2023, just as I was settling into post-grad life in NYC. As a former gluten-loving foodie, the news was a shock (I even told my doctor, “I’m never going gluten-free!”).
Adjusting hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned to embrace a delicious, full life without gluten. I created this blog to be the resource I wish I had at the start of my journey — whether you're newly diagnosed or just exploring the gluten-free lifestyle, you're in the right place.
